Trauma & NERVOUS SYSTEM HEALING
Virtual Therapy Sessions Available in Indiana
Trauma can affect how you think, feel, connect with others, and move through daily life. You may feel stuck in patterns that don’t make sense logically or find yourself reacting to situations in ways that feel overwhelming or hard to control.
At Salinas Counseling & Wellness, trauma therapy is offered through a compassionate, strengths-based, person-centered approach that honors your pace, your story, and your nervous system.
What is trauma therapy?
A supportive process that helps you understand and heal the emotional and physiological impact of overwhelming experiences — without forcing you to relive or repeatedly retell your story.
Healing may include both talking and experiential approaches such as Brainspotting and mindfulness-based techniques.
DO I HAVE TRAUMA?
Trauma is less about what happened and more about how your mind and body responded. If something still feels “stuck,” overwhelming, or unresolved, it may be worth exploring in a supportive space.
