FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

My approach to therapy is person-centered, humanistic, and strengths-based, focusing on what's right with you rather than what's wrong. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, with the ability to heal already within you. I'm a quiet and introspective person by nature, and I bring that into my work by offering a calm, attuned space where you can explore at your own pace. Rather than offering quick answers or solutions, I focus on deep listening and thoughtful questions that help you access your own insight and reconnect with what's already within you. It doesn't always have to be heavy—humor is more than welcome here, and I firmly believe that swearing can be therapeutic!

It is your responsibility to verify your coverage and determine whether services with me will be covered prior to our first appointment. Here are some questions you can ask your insurance company:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met yet? If it hasn't been met, how much will I have to pay out of pocket per session?
Will I have a copay?
How may sessions per year will my plan cover?
-
If you are using insurance and you have a copay, you will be required to pay your copay at the time of service. If you have a deductible, I will automatically charge the amount you are responsible for once the claim has been processed. I require every client to store a credit card on file prior to the first appointment. This ensures prompt and timely payments for the sustainability of the practice.

I am not available to clients 24/7. In the event you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening mental health emergency (thoughts of harming self or others), please contact 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Additionally, you can contact the National Suicide Hotline by calling or texting 988, or contacting Community Hospital at (317) 621-5700.

No. You don’t need a diagnosis, label, or fully formed explanation to begin therapy. Many people start because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what they’re experiencing. We can figure it out together.

Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy approach that helps access and process emotional experiences that may not be easily reached through talk therapy alone. It uses eye position and focused attention to support your nervous system’s natural ability to heal and release stored stress or trauma.
